Umm..yeah this might be a stupid question, but how do I get it to work? I already added my bank account to it but I cant seem to get it verified and Im not sure on how to do that.

It tells me to get my bank statement but dont I have to wait 'till a certain to get one of those? Well Im clueless and I really want to get this thing activated.

Dont you have old bank statements? I never got it to work either so I dont use it.
 
Some banks can print a mini bank statement from an ATM. Others, you can print one from their web site. My wife has a Paypal account, and everything works fine. I'll ask her when I get home from work tonight.
 
do you do online banking?    You can get the amounts ASAP if you do online banking (basically within 2-3 days).

What paypal will do is deposit a couple amounts in your bankaccount... and you will have to view your statement to get those amounts.
You can also call your bank, and they'll give you those amounts.  This will make you verified.

TO BECOME CONFIRMED (the most important aspect... actually... its more important to be confirmed than verified because this states your address is legit).... you have to do the SAME process with your credit card.  They will put a couple amounts (very small) on your card.... and you will verify that and be confirmed.

To state again... confirmed is the most important :)

Okay what happens here, is Paypal will deduct two small fees....like 34 cents and 44 cents to test it...now if you want to activate now. Call your bank and ask for any small amount deducations, much like "34 cents" and such....Paypal should tell you those two amounts that were deducted from your account.

When that happens, they leave a pair numbers by those transactions. Which you will need to confrim your account so paypal and your account can work together.

Umm..I've never did banking online, I just signed up with my bank to view my info, etc. Paypal said that it would take at least 2-3 days for the deposits to show up on my bank statement. Well when I get it working how much money will they put into my Paypal account? I hope not all of it. :-\



Ok I got what I need to do now, I read the direcetions on Paypal and it was similar to what you guys have said, just wanted to make sure that Paypal actually worked.

I have to re-enter my bank account info now since I put the wrong numbers in the despoit thing. I got to wait 'till Friday to get my check for this to happen, hopefully I'll get it right this time and soon I'll be buying somethings online. ;)
 
they won't put anything into your paypal account.

you will have to upload cash....   or you pay, you can just use the "source" as your checking account... and it will take it from there.
That can take 3-4 days for payment.

Weird..I have a friend that has Paypal and he's using savings and they uploaded his cash into his Paypal account. :-\
 
It will work without a credit card.......the point of verification is to prove that you are who you are and you live where you say you live.......some people on ebay and such require you to be verified in order for you to buy from them......but not all. Depends on what you need it for.

Im aware of the verification, I understand what's going on. I have to wait for my bank statement to come.
