This is for the FPS guys out there. With a smattering of games which one is the most solid.

I voted Halo because it's the best game for the XBox (first person shooter-wise) and of course could only be upgraded on the PC. And it was! More weapons were added and maybe some other content I'm not sure of.
 
Mine goes to Battlefield 2 after some deliberation...shooting people through copter windows while theyre hovering over a controll point flag...just has a special spot in my heart.
 
well I would vote for the Unreal Tournament Series if that was an option. I went with Halo. I played it for a while, and it was a lot of fun. Once i get the new pc, I plan on getting all these games...
 
Personally, I don't think the last four belong on the poll. Games such as the Unreal Tournament series, Half-Life/Half-Life 2, Doom series, Far Cry, F.E.A.R., Quake series, and possibly the Call of Duty series should be on there instead. Most of these games revolutionized the FPS market, while I would be willing to bet more than 85% of PC gamers never played any of the Tribes games or Red Faction (which wasn't all that great in comparison to other shooters at the time anyway). Besides, Tribes, Red Faction and Halo were all on consoles as well.

Quake yawn dont even get me started on half life unreal...please was better on the consoles. Doom always has been and always will be lame imo. FEAR? Sorry havnt played it and not gonna buy a game that has a stupid little movie girl on it. Nope sorry not gonna happen. And I havnt played Far Cry. As for the comment about most people not playing tribes or red faction. Youd be surprised how busy those servers where.
