Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

I was sick of the slight lag for no reason. When an opponent uses an item, it waits a few seconds and you know it's about to Full Restore their butt. ANd certain characters have laggy speech. Like when you talk to the Prof's helper when you complete the National Dex, you'll hear the beep that says you did it, but another split second later, the text shows up. Not huge problems, but really, how'd they happen?

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

The Elite 4 were so predictable with their Full Restores. It was so predictable that I had it timed perfectly. I would have one of my Pokemon use a status effect right after the E4 wasted their Full Restore. It was awesome. My favorite was using Toxic.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Whenever it went red or low, low yellow. I'm still sick of the damn monotony of every trainer. Yes, I get it, you like Bug types, variety, plzkthnxbi.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Yeah, but the champion was tough, at least. She had a crazy variety, and they were all Pokemon that were pretty rare.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Just a down fall of the game yet the challenges make the games hard. ^_^

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

That's true, she's even harder when your strongest Pokemon is a 54 Palkia, and everything else you have is a 12 Bidoof for an HM slave(good at letting me use Revives on importat ones though), or a level 49 starter set/Staraptor.

wow.....I'm impressed that you made it!! You surprise me. :lol

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

I know, I just barely won. That was the first time I actually appreciated the challenge and felt great about finally overcoming a real, deserving Champion in a Pokemon game.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Her Milotic is a beast. That was the one that consistently gave me the most trouble. Even if you use super effective Electric or Grass moves against it, it has high defense, so it's tough to knock out. And then it uses Aqua Ring to restore HP.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Yeah, sure. Aqua Ring isn't that bad, except on like, Manaphy. Milotic, I just Physical'd it. No super effective stuff, and it went down after a while.

Hines, Hearthome.

If you had a dialaga, you could've used heal block......it made it SO MUCH EASIER!!

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

I could have done that if Diamond had been my main one.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

I did after the E4. Then I said screw that and just hacked me one.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Review

Beat the Elite four with one Pokemon of course i did have a little bit of help by my Snover when he comes out it starts hailing which hurts any Pokemon on the field besides Snover but besides that my Infernape did all the actual fighting lvl 79 at the moment. Its easy all you do is buy a few revives and a few max potions and thats it.

Yeah i started again coz the monkey looked cool so yeah lol.
