Lol yes it is quite ****ed.
What the hell kind of world do we live in when you can't hug someone younger in greeting or departure without fear of being labeled a pervert.Hugging is a perfectly fine way to say hello or goodbye.Just don't grope or press up against her too hard.XXTankBeastXX said:Work was pretty good today had a few extra stuff to do so i was 6 minutes over my 2 hour time limit but my supervisor understands because apparently this is her first school as well so she understands how hard it can be to get all the main stuff and some of the extra stuff done in 2 hours.
I know i'm doing a good job though because one of the teachers came up to me and said that considering how long ive been there i'm doing the best job out of the rest so far so that was a good confidence boost right there.
The girl that gave me the Christmas balls (that's the name i couldn't remember) came up to me today and said hello and smiled at me so and then asked if i liked the Christmas balls (i did) and i said mmm yes very nice any way she left and waved good bye and all that said and said cya and all that any way apparently she is the daughter of David one of the support workers at Personal Employment who worked with me a few times.
This was the first time though that she has come up to me and said hello and all that so it got me thinking kids/preteens can be very...huggy if you will so my question is what the hell do i do if one day she or another kid comes up and hugs me what do i do i hate awkward situations so that's why i'm asking i don't want to seem like a rude butthole to the kid but i also don't want to seem like a weirdo to the staff or any other adult in the vicinity so yeah what do i do? do i hug back, just stand there, pat them on the head.
The thort of losing my job or getting in trouble because of a hug plays on my mind that's why i went in to detail and the question is so long because i really like this job and i want every one the staff, the kids and the parents to all think i'm a nice guy.
You are not a pervert for hugging someone younger. It's the onlookers that take a hug like that the wrong way who are perverted.XXTankBeastXX said:I agree it is pretty stupid that if she did hug me i can't hug her back other wise I'll be labeld a pervert or some **** it really irritates me i mean ok she looks around 11 maybe 12 and i am 19 but for the love of god it's just a bloody hug, family members hug each other for god sake.
I mean ok if i went up to her and hugged her first then ok that would be a little weird i suppose if you think about it BUT if she comes up to me and hugs me why the hell can't i hug her back seriously...it's a hug...get over it, it's not like i'm groping her or something i mean like i said family members hug each other.
It really does erk me how paranoid people are and how people blow a little thing like a hug way out of proportion. To me if someone hugs you it's rude not to hug them back but apparently to society now days if i a 19 year old get hugged by a say 12 or 13 year old and i hug them back "OMG he's a pervert quick get the pitch forks and torches" idiots -_-.
Bottom line HUGGING IS NOT PERVERTED any one who thinks this is an idiot. Ok sure if you hug some one and grab there butt yeah ok that's perverted but if you simply hug some one...i mean...HOW is that perverted
I actually think it's a gender thing if a women hugs a young boy people don't see anything wrong with BUT if a man hugs a young girl all of a sudden he's "perverted" or a "sicko" and i'm sick of people throwing the old and tired "Oh men think about sex all the time" garbage seriously are people dumb enough to even believe that **** any more i mean i don't think about sex all the timethat must mean i'm a women :
.
If i hug a 12 year old i'm not ****ing thinking "Oh i want to do her" if you SERIOUSLY think that's what a 19 year old thinks when he hugs a 12 year old then maybe there's something wrong with you:hh

Few i needed to get that off my chest.

All kidding aside,he's a true friend. They're a dying breed.Strubes said:I have bad news, and good news. I brought my PS3 home last night in an attempt to fix the connection to my TV through an act of God. That didn't work out in my favor. However, my friend is giving me his TV when he gets his new one this weekend.
Yeah, I should be grateful for the fact that they're not really gone, but it still gets to me when i get to thinking about them.mariorulezman said:Yeah...I know man...I had a friend like that then we both moved away..havent talked to him since i was about 10...im 18 now...its quite horrible. but at least youll still see them sometimes.
