Yeah, I have a bit of an addiction. It's hard to stop, especially when Amazon puts them on sale. I actually got them for $70.

There are some on sale at the moment. The [Sennheiser HD201] and the [Sennheiser HD202] are decent pairs. If you can spend a little more I have more suggestions too.

My audio addiction has been on hold for a while...but I feel it a brewin' on the inside! I still have a pretty nice receiver and tons of high quality speaker cables and connectors, but I had sold off my larger speakers and subwoofer. The thing I've always lusted for is a really high quality subwoofer. I've had a cheapo sony and a mid-end Velodyne and even those were awesome. I can't imagine something like a HSU, Outlaw, etc,. Well enough rambling! I'd be open to headphones under $50. I use them quite a bit so I want something good quality. My knowledge of headphones is not great at all, though...Not sure what to look for, other than comfort of course.

Sennheisers or Audio-Technicas for pulling double duty with both games and music. Beyerdynamics if you really want to splurge and are also getting an amp or high-end receiver. Grados if all you listen to is Rock and Denon if you listen to Hip-hop or anything with lots of bass.

The Sennheisers HD202 & 201 are both under $30. Koss Porta Pros are also decent and are usually under $40.

In order to figure out what you want in a headphone, first you need to think about what music you listen to. Then, you think about how you want your music to sound. Do you really like Bass? Do you prefer a neutral tone with a lot of clarity? Do you like your music warm similar to records or do you like to analyze all the sounds and instruments?

Those are just some questions to start you out. :)
 
That's tough because I literally listen to all kinds of music, plus the headphones would be used for gaming on my PC and sometimes consoles. But generally I like warmer sound with emphasis on low end.

It breaks my heart that not many people will hear this remix. Being an Xbox Live only game that sold poorly due to being overpriced at $15 and have oddly priced $2-3 DLC (Like this Music Pack sample for example) However, some of the remixes are downright gorgeous.

Does that game even have Richter or Simon in it? Hell without Richter I wouldn't even have bought it if it was on psn or if I had a 360. I want Belmonts not JONATHON!CHARLOTTE!JOHNATHON!CHARLOTTE!
 
I woke up today and spilt my coffee over myself, my stuff, and carpet, and almost got it on my external Hard-Drive too... FUN >_< :lol
