It's kinda funny how sometimes we find motivation in the weirdest places. Lately college has really been on my mind, because in the past I had always kinda talked myself out of it. Well, the other day I had jury duty and they called up a bunch of people to start selecting the jury. They were going through general questions and one of the questions was what is your highest level of education. Almost every person up there was college educated! Now, it's not that I am ashamed to only have a GED diploma, but I feel like I would be letting myself down big time to not further my education. I'm much too smart to be cleaning buildings or doing some other crappy job for the rest of my life. So it's official, I'm going to college. Gonna do a 2 year degree at a community college and then hope to transfer to a major college after that. I'm so stoked! My brain has been so bored for the last 10 years or so :D

congratulations man. And motivation does come from the weirdest places alright but the point is that you got that drive to increase your level of education. I hope the best for you.

Good stuff. You can never stop learning and at the very least, even if you don't end up in the field you want, you'll still make more than someone who hasn't received a college degree.

Good luck dude! It should be fun.

Very good point Creepin'. I'm going for psychology because I believe there is so many different job options with that and it's something that has always interested me. At the very least I just want to work with and help people, so I can definitely see myself doing some kind of social work. I know it's going to be a lot of work, but it will be very rewarding in the long run. Thanks again fellas.

That's great to hear! Good luck, I'm heading off to college in a few months too and I can't wait either. Should be quite an experience. :)
