Dude, I know. I had to mow in 99 degree weather today. Not even a breeze to keep me cool.

I've come to the conclusion, that I need a smaller yard.

I'm going through a "wear all black" phase. Unfortunately, summer is a bad time for that. :lol Luckily, I am inside most of the day so I can deal with being hot for a few minutes here and there.

Haha fun times! I remember when my dad used to make me do that crap. I swear that man has now mercy lol.

I usually try to wear light colored clothes in summer but unfortunately I have black hair so my head gets hot quickly.

Well, today I am moving into a house that I will be housesitting for aprox two months, but I am afraid to touch anything in the house so I think I will bring over my own towels and dishes as I doubt I can afford to replace any of theres. House is three times the size of pretty much anyone I know so vaccuuming is going to take like all day :s, but, hey, at least it is a place to stay. lol

So last night I hooked up my PS3 to my new tv and there's a couple things I noticed.

1. The PS3 runs so much quieter than my 360. You almost can't hear it. Very nice. I'm not sure how I didn't notice this before. Maybe I just didn't pay attention.

2. 120 Hz on an LCD compared to a four or five year old plasma tv - holy freaking cow. I was playing FFXIII and it felt like the battles were in fast forward! Everything was so fast and smooth.

Also, I'm probably going to pick up some PSN points so I can get Xenogears. I can't remember if I own it or not, and I want to play it now.

It's an older one. Remember when the red Resident Evil 5 bundle system came out? I'm still rocking that bad boy. :D

On the upside, if it happens to fail on me in the near future, I will have a legitimate excuse to buy the Gears of War 3 edition 360. :p

Do you install your games? I always do and the 360 is just as quiet as my PS3. I have the CoD MW2 edition. Which should be just like yours except Black.

I do, but some games I can't seem to find an option for it. Like Lost Odyssey. But maybe that's because it's four discs? I didn't see an option for Mass Effect or ME2, either.

I'm probably just not looking in the right place. I know there should be a button that says options and then you select "save to hd" or something.

Ah okay, that explains. I was thinking you were using that gorgeous one. Yeah the original PS3s are peaceful. The newer slimmer models a little bit louder but not by much.

Almost earned myself a Darwin award today! ...So my camera lens got stuck and wouldn't zoom in or out. I figured, it must just be catching on something so I'll open up the camera and give it a little nudge. Smart right? No! There's a little capacitor in cameras that can hold up to 300 volts...It was definitely the most painful shock I have ever received! I kid you not I felt the shock through my entire body. And now of course the entire camera is fubar 'cause I threw it across the room instinctively from the shock. Go ahead, point and laugh at me, I deserve it for this one :lol

Well, since I know you're okay... that is pretty funny. Sicks about your camera, though. Would have paid to see you chuck it across the room though >.<

Naaaww poor x2 *hugs you* Im glad your okay and yes it is kinda funny lol. :P Sucks about your camera, i hope you can fix it.

Hehe thanks :) It's actually ok about the camera, that thing was causing me more stress than it was worth. Now that it's broken it forces me to buy a new one, which I've been really wanting.
