Hey! What is this. Noone made me a birthday thread on ega on Saturday :O :O :O lol. That is ok tho. :)

Sorry Gelfwings. But happy belated birthday! I know it's about a week old, but it's the thought that counts right? :)

I do come around to help clean up the boards from spam but I tend to not jump into threads lately because I don't have as much time as I would like to discuss. Although I post more on Facebook, I haven't lately either. Which, by the way, if anyone wants to friend it up on there, send me a PM. :)

Well, u should post more on facebook and on here! :D It is hard tho when u have a job and life and are busy and everything. :/ And thanks for the happy belated birthday, that still counts. :D

Man finding a job is hard these days. I feel like having to apply online is making it harder because i'm not a person that walks in and talks to people then. I'm just some electronic application with a name.

Somewhat true but that's why you should always work on your Resume writing skills. Because even if you go in and talk to people, there's still a good chance they won't care about you because they've received 100's, maybe even 1,000's, of applications due to the economy.

My resume was destroyed with my computer and i haven't really gotten around to writing another. I went around handing the out and noone really cared. They just gave it back and said apply online.

My resume is pretty ugly right now as well. I graduate this coming May, so I am going to need a good one to start applying with soon.

Ahh yes, welcome to the real world called after college :D Just kidding man, you'll be fine!

I got my second Radeon HD 6850 yesterday and everything runs like butter at max settings and 1080p!

Runs a bit hot though. Never thought I would say this, but my Antec 900 case is not big enough! Everytime I upgrade I find something new. >:(

So i've got this here computer, a dell XPS 420 as it's called i think. And i'm trying to get another gig of ram but i don't seem to be able to find any. I think its my brain just not working though.

I'm giving it serious consideration but I think that I would also have to buy a new motherboard so that I can have enough space in between both graphics cards. Right now, my Intel mobo has both of the PCIx slots next to each other. Less than an inch of space between the cards. :(

I'm keeping all options open. I sped up the fans on the GPUs themselves and that tends to keep them both at slightly under 80o C under full load, for now.

I was in Walmart today when suddenly as I entered the electronics area the original Sonic theme gloriously orchestrated, hit my ears. I immediately went into a retro zombie trance. I found myself at a PS3 controller playing a demo of Sonic Generations. It is old skool hardcore gameplay meets modern graphics. I was in heaven. It is the only game that made me want the PS3. Didn't have the money or I would have wanted the game and the system on the spot. :D

Oh that sounds cool! I might have to get that game!

Does anybody know what it means if you suddenly can't use dxdiag anymore?

I've tried googling it to no avail. They just gave me links on what it was and how to use it...
