That sucks. I was wondering how ur Christmas was going to be. do u have any friends that u coul go to for Christmas dinner er christmas day at least? Does ur church have any special christmas get together things going on? U r at such a hard point in your life right now :/
 
Well, in my life lately I have been Christmas shopping and been sickish and so has my husband so we mostly have been laying around watching episodes of X-files, x-men xartoons, reading mangas, watching him play Assasins creed and playing tons of Dungeons and Dragons online together. Today he had to work tho so I am catching up on housework.

My husband has been playing lots of different sorts of music lately, Toby mac, Elvis, Savage Garden, and Hannah Montana. lol. So I am glad to be married to someone that appreciates so much different styles of music.

Tonight an extra episode of Grimm comes on and also a new Big Bang Theory so I am looking forward to those.

I am going in to see my siblings and parents for Christmas and my folks got a different house I have never been in :)

Pretty much broke and jobless right now, waiting for immigration to finalize, should be soon.

Showed my husband All I want FOr Christmas movie other night cuz he never saw it before. I wanna watch Home Alone before Christmas too :)

Don't know right now. I could be living on the streets by the time Christmas comes around.

That would be terrible :/ Doesn't ur church have any programs er anything to help u? The church I grew up in was really tiny, but I recall a few times were people stayed at our house for awhile (my dad was the pastor).

I guess going thru a really rough challenging time can make people a lot stronger, but having that uncertainty there of not knowing where u will live er anything at all, has got to feel horrible, especially at christmas time when u feel like everyone else is spending time with love ones and family and getting lots of gifts etc....

I don't like uncertainty and being insecure about the future etc so hopefully u do better at handling stuff then I do.

The family that used to live across te street from my family as a kid, they took in foster kids and things and had like five kids of their own. I believe that family was baptist. Noone from ur church takes in foster kids er anything eh?
 
There are a few foster parents in my church, but they don't usually take kids as old as me, and I'm kind of new to the church. I'm going to see a lawyer Tuesday, to see what my options are and to see if there's enough ground for me to try to get emancipated.
 
Ok, well, I am sure a lawyer will know ur options. I suppose some people are leery about taking in older foster kids too, cuz someone ur age has the potential to be on drugs and be violent er pretty much any other bad thing u can think of, so I suppose it scares some people more then taking in say a five year old who is really little and u can pick the lil kid up and move them if u need to etc.

If there are familys in ur church that do take in kids tho, u might see if u can post something in the bulletin er on a bulletin board there saying u r looking for a place to stay er something?

U were never able to get a job tho yet, right? It would sure help if u need to support urself e anything.

Do u have any buddies a bit older then u that rent their own place er something like that, that perhaps u could crash with and maybe get a job and pay part of the rent er something?

That is really good that u r meeting with a lawyer tho.
 
No job, unfortunately, because I have no transportation. :/
My youth pastor has been talking with some people in the church about possibly becoming my foster parents. I might even end up going to live with him.
 
Yea wow, I think I been here around 8-9 years myself. I check the forum literally everyday, but obviously I don't post much. Main reason is that I have 0 current gen systems other than my PC, but even that is aging...I play a lot of games, but it's like, who still wants to talk about Halo, Silent Hill 2, RE, FF9, etc.? I really should pick up Skyrim though and do some modding. I always loved that with Morrowind.

Prolly same as usual, go to a family get-together on Christmas Day and eat lots of food haha. I may actually have to come back to school that night though because we're leaving to go to our bowl game on the 27th with our football team on the morning of the 26th. Kinda sucks but oh well. You?
 
not sure. My entire family is going to Venezuela for christmas, But I gotta work on some internship paperwork so I have to stay here =/. But I'll probably spend Christmas with my boyfriend, our 2 year anniversary is the 27th after all =3
 
Just gonna stay home with my family as always. Nothing else to do!

We'll make some Christmas dinner and open presents and stuff, listen to music. Have fun, start bickering as usual, etc… :lol

On another note… Roll Tide!!!!! January 9th, gonna knock LSU off their high horse. :D
 
I'll spend time with the family, eat good food, open gifts, eat good food, enjoy the days, eat good food, listen to Christmas music, eat good food. I'll have week off from work so I might get some gaming in there some where and of course eat good food. ;D
