Got a week off for Christmas by accident. Not complaining except for the fact that my wife went through $1800 in four days.

Oh, and hi everyone.
 
It would seem that everyone has free time right before Christmas...
Now that, is odd. It's almost like the boards were meant to live...
 
I haven't bought anything yet. My girlfriend and I agreed not to get each other gifts. We're both terrible at buying gifts so we decided to just screw it. I have a way with words though, I'll write her something nice. :D I now just have to worry about my parents and brother.
 
It there was just one Christmas you had with a game system, that you would want to relive which would it be?

Mine would be the Christmas that I got the Turbo Express. My wife got it at a local Toys-R-Us. She completely surprised me with it. I was totally blown away. That was some good gaming on that little handheld.

PS2. It's the only gaming system I've ever gotten for Christmas.
Come to think of it, it's nearly the only console I got games for on any Christmas...
 
I don't recall any consoles for the holidays, but I think that's because I would get them for birthdays. I deeply remember going to downtown L.A. to buy my first NES with my parents. Then 3 years later, an SNES from my sister. 1 year later, my first Sega Genesis. And so on and so forth. Christmas I mainly received toys and games for my consoles.
