My area just had the wettest month it's seen since the DAWN OF TIME! :p Over 22 inches in one month, almost all of it in one week. We already have 40 something inches of rain this year, and our yearly average is like 44 in.
 
The rain we received was unusual in that it wasn't a hurricane or anything tropical that caused it, just normal cold fronts and stuff. A hurricane or tropical storm I'd expect that from, but a few fronts? Meh.
 
Personally, living in Pennsylvania where there's not too much rain, but not too little rain, I never carry an umbrella.  I know you weren't asking me, but I couldn't just change the subject like that :p

No i won't use and umbrella i don't like them, and yes i know that sounds strange but i have my reason lol

My guesses as to your reasons:
1. Fear of Lightning
2. Hard to use sometimes (getting into cars etc.)

*opens umbrella and gets struck by lightning*
Ouch. Why does it have to rain so much here? It's thundering as I type.
 
Lol not quite my reasons lol. Its not thundering here anymore and i think it might have stopped raining YAY but don't know how long for tho

No my reason -
1. there just plain annoying
2. they don't really keep you try only the top half of you, the rain drips off the edges and gets the rest of you wet.
3. U can't use them if its windy, lol i love to see pply trying its so funny
4. I hate ppl that have those massive ones and thake up half the path when you walk, i mean you could fit like 5 ppl under one of those things.
5. What annoyes me is when ppl don't look were ur going and u get poked in the eye or the head lol
6. When you get 2 ppl walking down the street and they won't move out of the way for each other, thats just annoying
7. Kids with them, they shouldn't be allowed them, cause they mess around and then you get hit from the wasit below with them lol

Ok i think thats all my reasons hehe =D ya i know u prob think im weird with them reason but it can't be helped
 
Oh, you're not weird.  Not really, silvergamer88, haven't had much in the way of hurricanes - too far north I guess.  I see the emoticons were changed...

Man, I didn't even stay up that late last night, but I slept in until 3 pm today! I was like :o I worked last night from 1:30-10 pm at GameStop. When I came home, I watched the Butterfly Effect. But I know I got to sleep just after midnight. I must have been really tired or something.

Same thing happened to me the other day. I didn't feel tired or anything, I go to bed, and when I wake up it's 2 PM.

I hate rain.....but for some reason I love soaking myself with freezing cold water and running inside an air conditioned house. Reminds me of Sierra Mist commercials.

That would be nice, but I just live in Texas with lots of rain all of the time.
