Your right I dont care, but I do like the whole Apple look though for some apparent reason. I remember back in the days that I hated Apple PCs! I didn't know that the OS is more powerful than Windows.

At some things, yes, the Mac OS is more powerful. For gaming, it is worthless.

pretty much, but most people dont use PC's for games. So the mac is perfect for those who just want a powerful stable machine to run their programs. So if games is the only thing that mac is worthless at, then Ill gladly take it over a Windows machine.

Yeah I hear ya' right there, I rarely play PC games as of right now. I might play a few now and then but Im sure Mac will be able to run certain games. I see now why people have both OSes. Im going to add some more RAM to my PC soon so I'll have at least 1 GB, I got 512 MB right now.

Some computers don't like having different-sized sticks of RAM in them. Most are fine, but the rare occasion it just won't detect one of the sticks.

You could always get 2 more 512MB sticks for 1.5GB. I have two, but unless you do hardcore video editing or Battlefield 2 stutters, you shouldn't need more than 1.5GB.

So your telling me to just go ahead and get 2 512mb RAM stick sticks? I have one installed on my PC right now.

I dont know how you can work on Linux, it looks totally confusing. I guess 'cause Im just so used to Windows. :D

Oh don't worry, it is totally confusing. But you get used to it eventually, once you start learning what does what.

I would recommend at least 1 more 512MB stick, for a total of 1GB. Should you choose to get more, then that's fine as well.

That's what I was thinking about getting, getting an extra 512mb RAM stick and be done with it.

You probably wont see much difference if you go higher than that. Only high end programs actually make use of it.

I just wanted to make a quick note that maybe it could do with which bank the RAM is in. I probabl am making myself sound like an idiot, especially among everyone who knows infinately more about computers than I do, but if you have the smaller RAM in bank 0, it won't detect bank 1 or will assume its the same size as bank 0.

Also, I typically use a picture I found online for my destop.
http://www.allposters.com/ Search for "Titan Clash" (Sorry, I posted this when I was at school, so I couldn't set it up and get a pic of it. I'll try later.)

I usually use this pic with a white background and it looks pretty cool, but it kinda hurts when there isn't much light in a room.

hey superman.. that link doesn't work :)

@ creepin.... what do you mean most people don't use PCs for games? :lol
