PS3 offical Nov. 06' release...World Wide!

Once I set up my machine in a spot it doesn't really move from there much. I keep my systems in pristine shape. :D You take care of them and they'll take care of you. :)
 
Wow. That's a little tidbit of info that I didn't know about. If this is true, then how fast is the phase-in of HDDVDs and blue ray disks??

I think the first HD-DVD's and HD-DVD players are already out. Bluray I'm sure should hit sometime this year or early next year. Either way, if you don't have an HDTV there's no point in getting either.

I've got another question. How long will movies be released in regular DVD formats as well as HD-DVD and Bluray formats?

why would Square do that? Then can make even more money with a Final Fantasy 7 spin-off!....again ::)

I believe HD-DVD players are either coming out this month (April) or next month. The movies are supposed to be out already. Blu-Ray was scheduled for a June/July release. Not sure if that's still the case though.

As for your second question, that's a good one. I don't think anyone actually has some kind of time frame. My guess is probably when HD-DVD's or Blu-Ray's start to outsell and outrent regular DVD's.
