No, E3 is next week. It used to be 2 months ago, but now its in July.

EDIT: Wait, it may be 2 weeks from now. Either way its in early July...

no, it was 2 months ago, when they unveiled the dog mechanic in fable II, and splinter cell conviction

No, that was GDC (Game Developer's Conference). If you don't believe me, I'll go find a link. Give me like 5 minutes and I'll edit in a link.

EDIT: Turns out it took a lot less than that. From the official e3 website, second sentence, and I quote "The new E3 Media and Business Summit will be held July 11-13, 2007..."

Here's the link: http://www.e3insider.com/portal/

Weird thing is, the 11th and 13th are/were the Harry Potter Five release dates. Coincidence? Yes.

dudes cmon over 120 devs r working on killzone 2 and it has as much money behind it as a movie over 40 mill

Then how come they won't give us any friggin info on the game. It comes out in a few months and we barely know anything...

EDIT: Plus,a big budge doesn't guarantee a good game, although it certainly doesn't hurt anything.

and how do u know that it comes out in a few months? please id be happy to see this game early quarter of 08 man this will be the flagship game for the ps3.. if sony puts so much money on something and so many bodies on something and keeps it pretty much locked up.... u can only expect greatness..

I thought it was slated for Q4 of this year. :?

Anyways, I think FF 13 and MGS 4 should be what Sony should be focusing on. Killzone is, at this time an unproven series, and I think Sony should focus on making sure established franchises, like those mentioned before, because they are sure to be big system sellers. Plus, Killzone's developer (whatever the hell its name is) is very inexperienced in terms of making good shooters. Other than Killzone (which wasn't all that great), the only other game they've ever made (at least to my knowledge) was the abysmal Shellshock Nam '67.

So, to summarize, we have a large staff working on the game and a large budget, but the game is being made by a crappy developer. So, why does this guarantee such a phenominal game?

and cherry, mgs4 is coming out on 360

No it isn't. Check Kojima Production's official site: http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/english/index.html

Under MGS 4, and I quote: "Playstation 3 [Coming 2007]" and nothing about the 360. Its not coming there.

Not yet. You never know. I'm just glad Devil May Cry 4 is coming to the 360.

I'm really doubting that MGS will be coming to the 360 any time soon. Its just not something I see happening. That and FF 13 will probably stay exclusive to Sony, and f they don't, the PS3 may just be screwed.

yea.....cause kilkzone 1 was very generic with dull, grey graphics. idk why people are exited about the second one.
It may end up being a pretty good game, like Killzone was (come on. It really wasn't that bad). I mean, it may be a great game, but we can't just assume that from a a big budget.
