PS3...thoughts so far

I'm thinking in at least the $100-$250 range. Because technically it will be more than that once you buy extra controllers and games for it.
 
If it hits $400 by February, I am buying one up fast. And by then the PS3 will have some wicked cool games.

I think the $500 is a good price for it right now. Sony's already taking a loss in profit when they make each one, and to stay in the race they had to do something drastic. Just think. Xbox 360 Elite is $480, and a PS3 is $500. Of course it's a matter of preference, but I think the PS3's headed in the right direction, especially after their game lineup for the holiday season. :D

The Elite went down to $400? Huh, that's pretty good. But still, what does everyone think of PS3 after it's impressive showing at E3 so far? :)

Well, I believe that Sony is getting more games out and Sony is back on the rise...

No, they won't win the console wars, but their E3 showing proved that they have enough exclusives coming out to justify getting a PS3. They're on the rise, but they haven't won. It'll probably take them the entire console cycle to catch up with Nintendo and Microsoft, but that doesn't mean they aren't on the rise...

Ah, gotcha. If this console race goes on for 10 years like they're predicting, you never know. PS3 is looking killer right now.

Did they give a release date for Killzone 2? If it's soon, I have to preorder it!

I missed half of Sony's press conference cause of work...rrrrr...but I heard nothing but good stuff!
