But I've been one of the main defenders of Sony for the last few months so that might not work out too well. :lol

I'm just disappointed. When I saw that the PS3 had a $100 price drop I started thinking that if it got one more price drop, it would be in my reach (and I want one :-\). Then, they go and announce that the entire thing was a huge bait and switch and in 3 months, there will only be $600 PS3's. It hurt. :'(

that was directed at Hines, hence it was after is post and was dealing with the elite

For me, it's like that Simpsons episode where Bart wants to see the new Itchy and Scratchy movie but Homer doesn't let him. Then at the end they cut to the future, Bart is middle aged and Homer is old and frail, and they finally watch the movie.

This will be the same for me and the PS3. :-\

You aren't alone in that. Just because I'm generally really cheap, I'll probably wait till the end of the generation to buy a PS3, just because I can get a TON for my money...

That's the same approach I used I didn't get a PS2 till 2 weeks before the launch of PS3.

Wii has weak graphics, PS3 has crap games, now and later, 360's have 33% fail rate. At the moment, Wii seems well rounded, with good games coming out, and not totally dying.

ps3 will have great games, the cause of the ring of death has been found

Yeah, Killzone 1 was sooo great, cause of the Ring of Death, wow, and? That doesn't change that a 33% rate is bad. DS doesn't have crap graphics, you've just been fed on PS3 and 360. Wii graphics are not bad, they are just not amazing. Bad is not being able to tell things apart in a game, or your eyes hurting from it, not "Oh, no, it's weaker than the Xbox!"
