PS3...thoughts so far

Yeah, Killzone 1 was sooo great, cause of the Ring of Death, wow, and? That doesn't change that a 33% rate is bad. DS doesn't have crap graphics, you've just been fed on PS3 and 360. Wii graphics are not bad, they are just not amazing. Bad is not being able to tell things apart in a game, or your eyes hurting from it, not "Oh, no, it's weaker than the Xbox!"

you are a comeplete idiot

the 360s are not defective, they were just plugged in wrong!

and i quote

"wii has crap graphics"

5 minutes later

"the wii graphics are not bad"

and ps3 has home, killzone, ratchet and clank, mgs4, heavenly sword and a lot of others

shut your mouth

I'm a complete idiot, actually. Plugged in wrong makes them not defective, how? Crap was comparison, or in another way, the words of everyone talking about it. PS3 has Home, wow, sounds great. Applause all around for it. Killzone, once again, might look good, but it probably won't, what the word, be good. Heavenly Sword, it's GoW with a different story line, please excuse Sony, they have way too much originality in game ideas. MGS4, still waiting on that gameplay. Ratchet and Clank, yeah okay, nothing too wrong with it, but you just listed four games, and last I checked, that doesn't make a console great.

There are plenty of good games coming for the PS3. Even Jack conceded that. It doesn't mean the PS3 will win this generation, but they're getting games...

for only being out half a year it does

name 5 great wii games

SSBB, SMG, MP3, MKWii, WiiFit, Zelda Wii(not TP), ACWii, No More Heroes, Soulcalibur Legends, Raving Rabbids 1 and 2, pretty much any future FPS on Wii, and it goes on.

Zelda Wii: Not even announced yet.
Soul Calibur Legends: a port
WiiFit: Stupid. RUN OUTSIDE IF YOU WANNA LOSE WEIGHT LAZY PPL!!!!!
ACWii-That being...
Raving Rabbids: A minigame collection.
Any future FPS on the Wii won't be great because of the zapper. I doubt the Wii will ever make shooters on par with the PC (ESPECIALLY PC!!!!!), 360, and yes even the PS3.
I will concede that: SSBB SMG MP 3 Mario Kart, and No More Heroes look really good. 8)

Wait...not Legends. The new one only for Wii. I'm no Soulcalibur fan. Zelda Wii, obvious. Animal Crossing Wii, obvious. Rabbids, still sold. Never said anything about the zapper.

zelda wii isnt real, those rabbids games suck.

so fhg, when was the last time you actually played a ps3?

now you will say youv played one just to make yourself look good

well good luck with that, but you havent.

EBGames/GameStop, Motorstorm was pretty fun. Zelda Wii is being worked on now, try again. Yes, I have played a PS3, and as much as you'd love to, you really can't prove me wrong. The controller felt awkward because of its weight, Motorstorm seemed to have too real of controls(like the SotC horse), and the Wii sitting right next to it looked, and was, a hell of a lot more fun.

Legends is an original, but as I see it, its basically gonna be a PoP Rival Swords.

The PS3 has plenty too, beyond what Hines said:
Lair
MGS 4
FF 13
Heavenly Sword
Killzone 2
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Ratchet and Clank Future
Warhawk
Home (hey, its free and it looks to be pretty cool)
Haze
And tons of other non-exclusive games that aren't on the wii...

That's great and all, I get it, but at this rate, it's the GameCube. Few good games.

no, i wont try again

miyamoto himself said there no current plans for another zelda wii title

so stfu

Go ahead, it's got...pretty much nothing. But it actually has plenty coming, and they'll sell, of course. Sure, Haze is probably superior to Mario Party 9, but when they show up, odds are, MP9 will dominate, due to simplicity. Wait until there's more 'pick up and play' games on the Wii. Even Microsoft and Sony are realizing it now, 'cause they're trying to get in on it. Echochrome, looks awesome, genius idea, but once again, it won't sell the PS3. Games or no, Wii has one thing that puts it ahead of the PS3(more than it already is). The price. I'd rather have a Wii, four games, and another Wiimote, than a 60GB PS3, with whatever's in the box. Not to mention, Virtual Console? Even cheaper awesome games. OoT? Super Mario Bros? Zelda I? Super Metroid? $28USD for all four of those. That's less than half of any PS3 game.

EDIT: Hines, Miyamoto also said SMG would be out at launch or six months after. *cough* Plus, what would be surprising if they kept that big of a game under wrap?

he just said no plans

and the wii sucks, other than 1st party titles

We've gone through this, that was developer's fault, and now they've apologized for making bad games, and will try now that they've seen the success of the Wii.

Because I can have an opinion, and it doesn't have to agree with yours?

the cause of the ring of death has been found

They blamed it on surge protectors, which IMO still boils down to the 360 itself being manufactured poorly. Thousands of electronic items are plugged into surge protectors and do not have as high a failure rate as the 360. If I'm to listen to Microsoft, my computer should be long dead, as it's been plugged into a surge protector for the past, oh, five years? But no, the only thing that has died that was plugged into a surge protector was the 360. I can't blame the surge protector for something that only happened to the 360. :)

The PS3 had the best E3 showing. But given that the PS3 is still going to be $599 in the foreseeable future, I don't know if having great games is going to help that much. The biggest turn-off has always been the price, and sure you'll be able to get the 60gig for $499 for a while, but once those are gone, back to $599 again.

I think the PS3 press conference would have helped if everyone wasn't so damn monotonous.
