I think its a cool idea. I am interested in getting online someday with my Gamecube.

What all do I need besides the broadband adapter?

What's games are online for the Gamecube?

Besides needing a Broadband connection,
Is there a monthly fee for Warp Pipe or to play PSO I/II/III ?

Thanks!

there is an $8.95 fee for PSO 1/2/3 but beyond that..... warp pipe is free.

I believe the online games are:
Kirby's air ride
1080 Mario Kart DD
and maybe 1 -2 others that support the Broad band adaptor.

You need a broadband modem, a router, a gamecube, and a bba :)
that should be it!

I am willing to get online there if others are as well.

I am already online with PSO 1/2.... and I am looking to buy 3 at sometime.

Yeah, I was checking out their website last night. Looks pretty sweet. I guess the new Warp Pipe version 0.4, soon to be released, is going to be like night and day compared to the current version out. I would definitely like to race against some live people at Mario Kart. :D

omg i got the dial-up adaptor.....any way to convert it to broadband......another 30 bux down the drain for nuttin...... :-[

Actually, if you have broadband, you can still use a dial up adaptor I believe. Mastermario did that I believe. Not as fast, but it still works for PSO.

it might be possible........my computer cant do it, but if your computer has a built-in modem and ethernet port, you could plug the broadband into the comp and the built-in modem to the modem adapter.........i dunno how that all works

yeah... you could :)

But actually..... It is work selling your 56K and getting a BBA if you can and have broadband.

I am not sure but I bet there is a way to hook up to it via 56K :)

If there is a way, are you in scythe?

I'd give that stuff a try, however I don't think I could use it with the setup I have...I've got a wireless LAN-like ISP...anybody have any ideas...I'm no computer geek so perhaps somebody could figure something out.

well i'd have to make my router a dial-up server, which i would need two linesfor....i cant do it this way since i only have two lines, one being my business...anyone know an easier way? i know that noone wants a modem adaptor :-\

Well, BV might be able to make a deal with you. He should have at least 2 BBA's, and if you trade your modem adaptor in, it shouldn't cost you much.

You could trade it in with me :)

As for Jeepin..... there is an instruction sheet.  If you need help, I can make a topic or you can email me.... and I can help you out :)
If you have cable/a computer/the cube with BBA/ and a router... you can do this.

You can do a different way than a router too, I believe.

Well I don't have cable and I don't have a router...so I guess that means I'm out. Unless of course there's some kinda jimmy-rigged way of doing it :lol

well...lessee here...I'll do my best to tell ya what I got...
My ISP is essentially a wireless LAN...I have an antenna on my roof...from the antenna runs a coax cable through an ampifier, down into another box (I have no idea what this thing does), then out of this box is a smaller cable that runs to a little PC card in the side of my laptop.
I also have a dialup modem...but no dialup service.

Blue...maybe we should take this to e-mail or PM so I don't grungy up this thread.
