PSP games- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Alrighty. Since I recently got a PSP, I was wondering what my fellow PSPers think of the games. Just post games you reccommend or don't recommend, and preferably why.

I only have SOCOM Fire Team Bravo and GTA Liberty City Stories, but I recommend them both.

Socom
++Online multiplayer
+Great graphics for a handheld
+/- Links to PS2 for unlockables
-Freelook is very twitchy

GTA
+Amazing graphics
+Huge, free roaming world
+Almost no loading times
+Multiplayer (ad hoc only)
-Controls take some getting used to but after you do are fine.
 
haha at first when I saw this thread I thought you meant the movie was coming out for the psp.
 
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2006
++ Pretty much all of the modes and gameplay features of the PS2 version
+/- "Bonus games" including WWE TEXAS HOLDEM
- Load times are a bit of a pain, though not as bad IMO as websites make them out to be
 
Twisted Metal: Head On. I recommend it if you liked TM2.

+Has all the same characters and more from TM2
+Newer and bigger environments
+Good soundtrack
-The action is fast paced so it might hurt your eyes
-Gets old quickly
 
I've heard good things about Twisted Metal. Personally, I'm looking at Lumines right now. But the price tag on PSP games is pretty steep.
 
some are.. but I have a hard time buying a handheld game for $40... I Wouldn't do it when the GBA games were that high... and I won't do it now.

MAX I will pay for a handheld game is $35... I know it is only $5, but I even think $35 is too high, but that is my limit.

The way I see it is that I can get 3 psp games... OR I can get 4 DS games.... and that is the way I am weighing it out right now (based psp games @$40, and DS games at $30).
I do want Socom... but the price is a bit too steep right now....

PSP games are expensive compared to other handheld games. I'm always hunting for deals/sales because I really don't want to spend 50 bucks for a handheld. $40 is the limit for me.
 
Ultimate Block Party is another good puzzle game for PSP (I think it's as good as Lumines although much less known) It retails for 30 bucks, but it seems a bit hard to find at this point (I only found it for sale in one Gamestop)
 
dont get th game the hustle detroit streets (unless you like pool) the graphics are okay but for a game with such a low fps that they should be able to utilize the graphics a bit more
 
I actually like all my PSP games. I think the one I put the most time into was Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee, because it's so addictive and fun and I didn't have GTA for my trip to Canada or St. Thomas.

In fact, my PSP is probably my most frequently used gaming system at the moment. If I'm home, I just play my computer. When I'm away, my PSP is usually with me (especially study hall in school :p).
 
I completely agree with you on GTA. I had some trouble with the controls to but now im doing fine. The missions are easier on this game too.
