Well i have had both a DS and a PSP. I got rid of my DS because the game library was small at the time, but now its getting kinda big. But i have allways had my PSP and i love it, and if you like MGS and GTA get the PSP they are both great games.

ok. the ds lite is a good system no doubt. but if u think long and hard about it. the psp has a better long term use. the umd movies are a waste of time. the ds games are good. but the psp has a wider range of games for different age groups. not to mention the fact the homebrews exsist. using homebrew, and emulators can allow u to put a lot of games on your psp. all u need is a big enuff memory stick. a 2 gig stick costs 30 dollars. that a lot of memory. if u use your psp rite. u will be happy.

Well I wasn't. The games were horrible, UMD movies were crap, and I already have 500 songs on my ipod and I'm not gonna put it all on the PSP when its already on my ipod. I found literally almost no reason to use my PSP. I can't even find the thing and I don't even care.

PSP has no good games. Even if you think the same about the DS, that's just making it so PSP sucks more, because everyone(even PSP owners) agree that its games are crap.

The only advantage PSP has is a bigger screen so we can really tell how bad the games suck.

Well I decided to buy niether.

Probably the best decision ;-)

But seriously, I don't get this bias about the PSP having bad games. I have owned both and think they are equal.

I think you may be in the minority there. Its not necessarily a bias. It's just opinion and its an opinion many people share. I personally haven't found more than 4 games I want to buy for my PSP, but I've had my DS for a month, have four games and have just scratched the surface. The DS seems to have a broader library of good titles than the PSP.

How is saying 'Hey, let's throw PS2 graphics on a handheld, get rid of half the shoulder buttons,, remove an analog stick, have this weird analog nub, give it way overpriced movies, and call it a system. Oh, don't forget, you cannot ever make a good game for it.' an original idea?

I bought a PSP in anticipation of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (I'm a Tales fangirl) and I picked up Valkyrie Profile and Loco Roco to tide me over. But I haven't been playing it because Pokemon Diamond is too addictive. :p

That's pretty much the jist of it. Nintendo is used to the handheld market, and Sony's first try shouldn't be doing what you were saying.

"Alright I got it! Let's toss a PS2 controller off this building and whatever buttons fall off, we won't use!"
