I do understand and agree with this point, but that is no excuse for a shoddily made and tested title. Clearly there was a difference between a game like Quest for Glory III and Quest for Glory IV, no? They ran on the same hardware essentially, requirement wise anyway, and ran on the same visual-display (SVGA), etc.. for all intents and purposes, same game.
What's the difference? Extreme bugs. Corey and Lorey Cole had little influence over the last title and thus when it was released by Sierra and pushed out the door full-of-bugs, hm m m . Sounds like the developer is at fault here for rushing a product. It happens all of the time and it happens a lot more often in the PC market because developers know they can just "fix it later".
