Quick XBOX 360 question

HI,
I want to ask for a xbox 3360 for my b-day because I was thinking of a ps3 but I think 360 has better games anyway I had 2 question I hope you could answer

1) If I have wireless internet can I connect to x-box live? or does it have to se cables or do I have to buy something extra

2) I was thinking of buying Gears Of War but what other cool games does xbox 360 have that you would recommend me? (that arent car racing or guitar hero because im buying rock band when it comes out)
 
Elite comes with a built in HDMI port and HDMI cables and a 120GB hard drive.

Premium does not have an HDMI port and only comes with a 20GB hard drive. But, soon new premium consoles will come with an HDMI port.
 
Game saves themselves take up hardly any room at all. The only thing you gotta watch out for is if you download a lot of demos. Some are 1 GB each and that can add up quickly if you don't clean out stuff you don't use.
 
Gears of War, Bioshock, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are games I recommend that are already out.

Future games include Halo 3 and, if you're into rpgs, Eternal Sonata.

IIRC, a certain portion of the hard drive is specifically for game saves. Basically, the only way you will fill up your hard drive is if you have tons of demos and videos. Downloadable content can take up a decent chunk too. But if you delete demos when you are done and don't horde videos, you should be okay with a 20GB hard drive.
