Red Ninja: End of Honor

Anyone else played this?

I rented it last night and rather like it... The biggest complaint on reviews was that there are camera angle issues... Just using R1 to center view seems to get past those issues rather quickly from what I gathered last night...

Oh, and the kills this girl does with her wire-weapon... brutal!

When I saw this at E3.. I want to say it was in 2005 it looked decent. They even handed out a bunch of fridge magnets that were sweet. I have a bunch of them.

But then the game dropped off the radar forever. And landed to a terrible reception. I have yet to play it my self, though... :-(

I tried it at Grind's place... and it's not bad. Some controls seem a bit clunky... It sort-of looks and plays (IMO) like nightmare creatures. It's not bad though.

Afterwards we broke out Tekken Tag, Soul Calibur 2, Metal Slug 3 (NEo AES version), Last Resort (Neo AEs), and a couple others. Good times :)

†B†V† :hat

I will say that the Red Ninja controls seem over-sensitive at first (the direction stick mainly). After a night of playing, they get VERY comfortable though... I can stealth-kill guards, rip heads & feet off from a distance and use the wire to hang and swing VERY proficiently now.

This game gets very BRUTAL at times with the amount of gore!

Tekken Tag was a MUST to break out. :) I'd buy a PS2 for that game alone. Still one of my favorite titles. I still need to pick up some more final fantasy sequels. I'd love silent hill II on the ps2, but would take it on the xbox (if & when I get one that is).

Tekken Tag.. x-p....

Red Ninja, maybe I'll pick it up for cheap.
