Red Vs. Blue deserves its own topic

We're still working really hard on finishing the DVD and I think we're nearing completion. We hope to have it done and available for sale by the end of July. We're going to take a short break when we wrap the season 2 DVD and will have information about future projects up here very soon.

from the rvb website.......it doesnt sound like it will be too long of a break, so maybe mid-august to november area? not sure
 
i doubt they will start the season with halo 2, even if they do start by then........they will want to be given some time to learn everything they can do with halo 2, and they HAVE to use the maps in halo......so they will wait IMO
 
Yeah, they could easily all get in a warp to zanzibar or wherever, and then theyll have a new series.........but i still think theyll stay with halo for season 3, or at least most of season 3

That is also my favorite line. I said that like every 2 hours for a few days after I first heard it. Now only every day or 2  :p


Also, I wonder if they can do RvB in Halo 2. I mean, their current technique of "talking" involves looking straight down, at which point their head goes straight forward and they can nod by looking up and down slightly. In Halo 2, looknig animations are much better, so they will need a new technique to "talk" with.
 
Well, as popular as RvB is, I wouldn't be surprised if they got some "special copies" with some options that would make their job easier. (No HUD, no guns, etc)
 
Ya, RvB is basically just advertising their product anyway, so I could see Bungie making them some special games. On the other hand, the RvB guys managed to make the episodes with only what was given to them in the first place, I'm sure they'd improvise again.
 
They probablly could go without any special things. But, they will practically have to rewrite the book on making Red vs Blue to do it without special features.

Memorable quotes are what I live for in web series.........thusly, Season 1>>>>>Season 2. Plus they toned down the language alot in season 2, which IMO makes it less funny.

Rooster Teeth totally updated the RVB site. Now it's a little like 1up.com, where you get your own page with a blog and stuff like that. I had to re-register for the forums, but I kept the name I had for the old one (Spartan087).

They aren't doing sponsors yet, but I will probably sponsor again this season.
