Raise your hand like a spaz if you want to play RE5 this week with the NEW EXPANSION (17th for X360) and 18th for PS3.


Also, don't forget to download the FREE figurines DLC that you get to view in-game via the gallery! (Yes they included BARRY and REBECCA!)

So I figured out where they placed the bonus missions when they become available. After you choose, "Play game", on the next screen click on "Extra Content", which will be the last option and the location of the new stuff :)

I just played the Xbox 360 edition of "Lost in Nightmares". Needless to say, it's short and sweet. Yet for $5 I received what I was craving to begin with. Classic Resident Evil fear! This sub-plot focuses on Jill and Chris as they find the Spencer Mansion in Europe to confront Albert Wesker himself. 3 years prior to the events of Resident Evil 5.

I thoroughly enjoyed the rich and dark atmosphere this scenario granted compared to the actual game. The Mansion you explore, is a spot-on clone almost to the Mansion from Resident Evil 1. Yet things get weirder as you finally reach deeper into the basement of the game, a new monster you will face, and classic zombies await you at last to give you good old fashion scares!

The bonus to purchasing this expansion, is "Mercenaries Reunion" mode which grant you access to playable characters such as Excella and RE1's Barry Burton from the very start.

On a side note, if you wish to have the bonus costumes featured in the PC edition, you will have to pay about 160 MS Points. (Approx. $2 extra).

Capcom has also confirmed that the second episode, "Desperate Escape," previously dated for March 3 and 4 on XBLM and PSN, respectively, will also launch at the 400 / $4.99 price point and be joined by Costume Pack 2 (180 / $1.99).

DESPERATE ESCAPE DLC is ready to go.

The circle of downloadable content is now complete, and Resident Evil fans that opted to purchase the DLC instead of waiting for the March 9th release of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition can complete the package. Desperate Escape, available today on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft points, sees players taking control of Josh Stone and Jill Valentine as they struggle to escape the Tricell facility towards the end of the main game.

Desperate escape also includes two playable characters for the games Mercenaries Reunion multiplayer mode, Josh Stone and Rebecca Chambers from Resident Evil 0.

Costume pack is also available today on the Xbox Live Marketplace. 120 Microsoft points scores you Sheva's business costume and Chris' heavy metal outfit, both of which are new characters for Mercenaries Reunion as well, with their own unique weapon load outs.

PlayStation 3 owners can purchase the new content tomorrow, because Sony loves Thursday.

I just finished the Desperate Escape and I must say, this one isn't a walk in the park. It's panic mode and running like crazy this time around, very limited ammo, and health.

So you haven't picked up the new DLC for RE5? Well guess what 360 and PS3 fans. For 960 MS points ($12.50) you can save a few little dollars will get you BOTH DLC's and BOTH Costume Packs for Mercs mode!
