Yeah, I have a weird reaction to some movies. I get too into them. You know that movie Face Off, with John Travolta and Nicolas Cage? I passed out when I watched that at the theater. The part where Nic's character wakes up and realizes there's no skin on his face? Ew ew yuck! I could just imagine him reaching up to his face and feeling nothing but muscle and blood vessels and raw meat texture. Yuck yuck! It grosses me out just thinking about it now. To this day I still have not seen the ending. I don't think I could watch that on DVD unless I skipped that part. I also am for the most part unable to watch movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, even though I loved them as a kid. If I watched them now I would start thinking about how it would feel to be one of the victims and then I would start feeling ill.
On the other hand, I have no problem watching the Bone Collector, CSI, or Taking Lives. It's kind of strange.
That's why I like action movies, comedies, and love stories. I don't have to worry about those making me feel sick.
