Resident Evil Deadly Silence for Nintendo DS...no joke

that is not what i meant. when you take pics and blow them up to make em bigger they graphics look bad. but if you held up a DS they would good great

spartan... they are not that bad :lol

besides... those aren't final pics yet, right?
IF so, they aren't that bad.

or.... maybe I was expecting a lot worse (with your discussion) than what I saw.
:lol

Bv :hat

Graphics, yeah really good discussion...excuse me while I have some fun with Gameplay in Resident Evil.... ::)

Sure Metroid Prime Hunters has samus with a blocky hands in multiplayer mode...but yet you still play it...

Sure Super Mario 64 DS is using less polygons on Mario then the original, by giving him blocky white hands...but you still play it...

Bottom line here....everyone needs to quit whining about graphics and get back to playing your games. You don't buy a game just to look at it...you buy because you want to play it. Do I make myself crystal clear on that ladies and gentlemen? No jokes...no underwear comments......no "kid" comments...I'm tired and sick of it all....

I understand that the graphics are bad...

If the game stays true to the original gameplay, it should be fun, but that doesn't change the fact the graphics are bad.

Good graphics =/= good game

Bad graphics =/= bad game

However,

Good graphics > bad graphics

And I give a round of "...'s" to Ghouls.

So I just saw the trailer on the official site and all I can say is "Thats awsome". The graphics actually look better than the PS1 graphics. The best part is that they kept the cheesy voice acting. :D Going to pick this up when it comes out.

This game to me looks like Resident Evil 1 meets Microsoft Paint...

And why do you have to wipe the poorly looking blood off the screen? This is Resident Evil, not Window Wiper Simulation ver. 5.  >:(

Other than that, can't complain.  :D

Quick UPDATE on this sweet gem of a game....

This game does NOT use pre-rendered backgrounds like the original game anymore! it's re-worked from the ground up...

PLUS! You have TWO choices of gameplay....Original....PSX classic....or....REBIRTH (The GameCube remake!!!)

That's right people, you can play the PSX original...or the GameCube verison....right from the DS....it has the same graphics engine as the PSX game of course, yet, you can now see the big difference, So once you choose "REBIRTH" mode, the entire Mansion will transform into the EXACT map from the GameCube with all the tricks and traps + Monsters!  ::D

Also you have "Competion" and CO-OP Mode up to 4 players!

This made me scream like a little school girl. That is the most awsome game ever.........for the DS. :D

UPDATE! The very first VIDEO clip of Resident Evil DS!

It's so friggin' awesome...

wow... that looks really cool!

hm... I might have to get that... but is it any different than RE?
I mean are things changed? OR is this a whole new game?

Bv :hat

to the main game itself? No I'd say, I would just consider this another remake with some new surprises, yet this time it seems like we got more then what we wanted when it comes to bonus features :)

they can only remake and rehash their games so many times... you know?

I am surprised they are still remaking this game. Oh well... it is pretty cool to have it on the handheld :)

Well the big reason why this is being released for DS, is because 2006 embarks on the 10th Anniversary of Resident Evil. So Capcom wanted to pull out the red carpet for their famous money maker :)

I'm not so sure about this game. The first person shooter for the ds, goldeneye, is terrible. What will make this fps any better?

First person is optional actually...and also part of a bonus game within the game itself
