Resident Evil Zero port waggling onto Wii

Resident Evil is going backwards on Wii. The last of the series' antiquated entries, Resident Evil Zero, is headed back to GameCube, er, Wii, reports Famitsu. You may recall that Zero debuted on GameCube in late 2002, and digging deeper, you may even be able to uncover an actual copy already existing in your game library. Dust that thing off, pop it in your Wii, and -- voila! -- it plays (we swear).

Of course, as Capcom already proved with its RE4 Wii-make, those old GameCube games are missing something; add a little wiggle, a little waggle, then reboot to retail and -- voila! -- it sells (we swear).

Again, the Wii proves to be awesome for improving older games, like Okami and Resident Evil 4.

I'll probably pick this one up if it's cheap.

wait...

Are they using the static camera angles as the original or are they gunna make it more like RE4?

It's a straight up port of the Gamecube version, with added waggle.

That information alone turns me away.

No, that game included all of the Playstation 2 content (costumes, levels, characters, etc.) that was not previously in the Gamecube version. It also added Wii-pointer shooting controls, which RE0 will not have.

So what exactly is going to be new about this game? Or is it just going to have a Wii on top of the box?

That's not new content, actually.
