Resident Evil??

Yeah, I'm particularly impressed with the lighting in many of the areas. It adds to the overall creepiness of it. That, and Griff calling me at midnight right as a window breaks in RE.

Oh man after a rough day at work I can honestly say this here cheered me up. Couldn't stop laughing when I read this. It's happened to me a few times and one time in particular with an RE game.

Playing the RE2 Second Story, for those familiar, there is this big thing that's kind of like a Nemesis type creature that follows you around. So anyway I get into a gun fight with this thing and temporarily kill it, he always gets back up later and comes after you again, and decide to leave the room. Once I'm out of the room I no sooner take one step when the SOG comes crashing through the wall, making me drop the remote and basically scaring the bejesus out of me. Once I collected myself, picked up the remote and paused the game I allowed myself a couple of seconds to just laugh about it and lightly curse that big dumb ape. :lol :lol
 
That hasn't happened to me, but once over my friends house I was playing Code Veronica and freaked out when one of those taffy monsters appeared.

They were scary ok. >:(
 
What's the worse thing about playing a horror game in the dead of night and every light in the house off? PETS!!!

Seriously, with two cats in my home I'm due for a coronary every time I boot up an RE or SH game... :o
 
Sounds like my sisters cat Penelope. I'll get home from work, after dark, and she'll come flyng out of nowhere giving me a minor coronary or worse she'll come flying out at me as soon as I open the door from inside the stairwell. :lol :lol
