revised games list for Midway arcade treasures #2

August 03, 2004 - Midway Games announced today a slight revision in the classic title list for Midway Arcade Treasures 2, the company's second batch of loved, known, and notorious classic games. Stun Runner, Steel Talons, and most importantly, Mortal Kombat have now been removed (though MK1 has been added to the special edition of Mortal Kombat: Deception), while Kozmik Kroozr' and Wacko have been added. The collection is set to ship October 11 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube.

Just to comment.... I think it stinks that they took out MK1, stun runner, and steel talons.

I was looking forward to those 3 games...... :(

Isn't the second Mortal Kombat the best one anyway? Or am I thinking of Street Fighter 2? Hm.

Well I might end up getting MK: Deception, but the fact that they took out MK1 is still a bummer.

Oh, Midway received a very animated e-mail from me about the changes, I can't believe they'd release one list then change it. Not fair. >:(
 
I wonder why they really changed it.... I think that sucks.

MK would have been a great addition.
