I remember him from the Ten Commandments. I could never make it all the way through Ben-Hur.

Believe it or not I just found out he was an actor! All I knew him as was the president of the NRA....R.I.P

Really loved the old movie "El Cid" where he played the character El Cid. Also he did a great job with the first "Planet of the Apes" movie. Even though he has not played anything for years, there are some great old time retro movie viewing in the things that he played.

An old actor that will be missed. R.I.P.
