I haven't seen a topic about this game yet.....so I thought it deserved one. :p

Anyone else plan on getting this game? I haven't made it to Best Buy to try it out....but I pre-ordered it from Amazon last night. It looks to be an awesome game. I am soo pumped to get it. I've been waiting for a Drum Hero, but this will have to do. :lol

But dang....Last week I was looking at pre-orders and it looked like I could easily get one. But when I was looking around last night Best Buy, Game Stop, and even the official Rock Band website (rockband.com) were completely out of pre-orders. The Amazon order was through Target....I think I was lucky to get it.

Wikipedia has lots of great information about the game. They have a list of features, the main set list, and the unlockable songs. They also have a list of confirmed Downloadable Content.....pretty sweet songs.

Something that i think would be cool and playing guitar and singing at the same time... just sounds like an awesome experience but would limit the songs you play cuz you would have to have the song memorized... which wont be bad if you play it enough
 
I sing while playing Guitar Hero all the time. I'd like to get it, but we'll see how doable that is financially. I mean, I really, really want it.

I am a bit dissapointed though....I just found out that you can't hear vocalists if you are playing with them online. I understand it was probably to avoid annoying teenagers or something, but they could at least make it a feature that could be disabled. Oh, well. Im still getting it. :p
 
the track list for this game is amazing! It makes me want the game more than what the game itself is

This game sounds pretty cool to me. However, this is probably a game I would only play with friends. It would probably be boring by yourself.
 
I dont really like the guitar no hold on I dont like the guitar I know that im gonna get burned for that but it takes real skill Ill admid that but other than that is really good miltiplayer game id reccomend it

Yeah, pretty sweet commercial, Harmonix is such a normal name now, they didn't even show gameplay and everyone knew what was going on.
 
It's gotten a 9.4 and a 9.5, it's supposedly the best party game round, and it's pretty much better than GHIII. GHIII does have free downloads, though. And as I just convinced my parents, my sister and I'll be getting Rock Band for Christmas. Along with Live, hopefully.
 
Im not sure if there is a coheed and cambria song on there. As far as its comparason to guitar hero III, I think that they are pretty equal for the most part.
