Anyone else excited about this game? Sci-fi-ish cel-shaded Final Fantasy type game. Pretty epic looking
 
I think this game will be great, but not appreciated in America. Can't wait to play it!! :D
 
OMG I CANNNOT wait for this game... It's gonna be gigantic, the only thing that turns me off is the action-esque fighting, but hey. I hope its like Dark Cloud (one of the best games EVER, which really needs another game added to it for cripes sake)

Whens this come out anyway?
 
January... should be worth the wait, they're making the English version have some extra's (like extra planets).
 
Rogue Galaxy is going to be the second best RPG to come out for the PS2 in the last three years(behind Final Fantasy 12) Preorder that sucker as fast as you can!! It is gigantic and amazing graphics. Go to the website and look up some stuff on it...
 
I think its only going to be on ps2, but i'm not sure. Who knows it may come out for another system...
 
From what I have seen it looks pretty good. But I don't know if I'll pre-order it. I have a friend who works for Sony who's going to let me borrow her copy when she gets it. That way I can try it out and talk to my customers about it. If I like it, I'll buy my own copy.
 
already preordered from egameaddiction :) such a long wait till the release though! oh well, playing Dwarf Fortress on my PC

You do know there is a Dark Cloud 2 right!? It's about 50x better than part one so I suggest you pick it up if you don't already own it. And yea, I'm VERY excited for Rogue Galaxy, I'll pretty much buy any game that Level 5 is involved with.
 
yea yea my bad - i meant that they need a Dark Cloud 3 cuz 2 came out like 5 years ago and that series is SWEET. But I hope Rogue Galaxy is a lot of the same
 
I live in the US too man... I just read it in either OPM or EGM, you should really look into getting EGM dude, it's worth the resource

No, it's because it's an rpg on the PS2 that does not have the words "final" or "fantasy" anywhere in the title and is not made by Square Enix. So naturally it really hasn't been getting that much publicity. I think the first magazine I read about it in was Play, since they like all kinds of rpgs, not just Final Fantasy.

You are right on the money about that Mai. That's basically why I cancelled my EGM subscription, 'cause all they mentioned was big, "mainstream" games. For me, the last straw was when they did a 4-5 page spread on "50 cent's bulletproof", yet SMT:Nocturne got a whopping 3 sentences {which of course, most readers probably never saw}. It's just nice to see somebody on the same page as me :)
