Same here.

Half of your force in Bahumet Lagoon were dragons. Granted, your control over what they did was limited, but they were still awesome.
 
dragon quest VIII lets you summon monsters to battle in some situations, same for FFX and FFXII/RW. in tales of symphonia 2 you are able to capture monsters and use them in battle however you don't have control over them (you just control their strategies), but yeah the addition of monsters in RPGs is being added more and more in franchises

Ooo I'd like a game that focused on Cosmo Canyon's history, the war between Nanaki's tribe and the Gi tribe or something?
 
i'd love to see more non-human charecters in RPGs. i was dissapointed that FFXII had only one non human charecter in your party. with so many different races it seems like a wasted oppurtunity.
