*Rumor* GameStop to stop carrying GBA/GBC/GB games by April.

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Apparently, Gameboy and Gameboy Color games will be put on sale, 75% off is what I was quoted, starting in April. Some stores might also be dumping their stock of GBA games too.

I caught this rumor from digitpress.com, whom this person recieved it from GameFaqs.com. He even took it a local GameStop and they stated, "No Surprise there"

I'm glad I just purchased a GBA SP at this time, these badboys are hard to find.

So, are they slowly getting rid of everything that's not playable on modern consoles?

if they get rid of gamecube games things are gonna get dark for me >_> so many goods games i missed.

and strubes they are practically getting rid of our childhood experiences

...Sales for...? If you mean us, then yeah, it's nice we can get 4x the older games for the same price as a week ago. Maybe I can get some for free since I've been in there enough to be called a regular by the workers...

GCN games can be played on Wii.

I was thinking more like clearance sales on all GBA/GBC/GB games. But that works too.

yeah you can play GBA games on the DS and they are still getting rid of it >_>

That's because that way they can remove the entire cartridge case from the stores.

Any other day of the week, I would disown you for saying that. :lol However, so you're saying, if they try to get rid of them at a clearence, it would make them return or sell quicker?

It would definitely make them sell quicker. Cause you have to think they'd at least try to make some money, rather then pitching these in the trash like other instances.
