dude this should be calle super smash calibur 4 XD. i bet they will add a tekken guy next.

No. This cannot happen. This must be some sick joke. His blades would reach out too far and jus because of that there would be an unfair advantage

That's true for any 3rd party character in a game. Take the Spartan from Dead or Alive 4. She is the most broken character out of any of the others and you can bet that Yoda, Vader, Vader's Apprentice, and Kratos (that's a maybe) will be broken as well.
 
I love looking at Nicole the Spartan but she plays horribly.

If this rumor is true I will be picking up a PS3 JUST BECAUSE Kratos is a sexy man-beast.

Probably not...unless they made it where every character had a choice of weapons...but I don't think (if confirmed) Kratos' blades would extend as far as everyone's thinking in this game. I think they'd have them come out a bit, just to be the length of the large sword Knightmare has...or Astaroth's Axe.

well link had a staff in soul calibur 2, and choice of weapons is something that has been in the series for a while
