Rumor: NDS2 to be revealed at the GDC 2010 show?

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
RUMOR: Gamekult reported that game developers have already received Nintendo DS2 development kits, and Nintendo is set to reveal the new portable at Game Developer Conference in March 2010.

that's weird.... didn't they release DSi recently? or do they mean the yet to be released in America DSi XLL?

Please Nintendo, stop milking everyone for money. You already have enough. We don't need a new or updated version of something every few months.

Well to be fair, it is just being announced, who actually knows when it will come out. But other than that I think they should have just skipped the DSI all together and went straight to this completely new handheld. I still don't even understand the point of the DSI. But it just wouldn't be Nintendo to not make 5 variations of an existing handheld before releasing a totally new one :D

DS, DSlite, DSi, DSi XLL

PSP, PSP 2000, PSP 3000, PSP GO

i think it is more like a portable deal of milking people out than just Nintendo (though you could argue that the different versions of the ps3 and 360 count so it is a console/gaming problem of milking people with different versions)

I suppose so. However, it feels like Nintendo does this faster. I'm not sure about the dates, but if Nintendo's other versions came out before Sony's other versions, that would be Nintendo forcing Sony's hand.

Faster, slower, doesn't really matter. I think we can all agree on the simple fact that ALL of the game companies want to milk us for our money :P

For the most part, yes. Game companies = $$$.
