Sega Saturn Saturn - More Horsepower than PSX?

I saw Thunderforce V in a video on the Saturn and it looked a lot smoother and crisper than my old PSX copy. Did it have a better CPU?

no, just that the Sega Saturn has a way better 2D Processor compared to the PSX (Compare Darkstalkers PSX Vs. Nightwarriors Darkstalkers Revenge Saturn)

Yet PSX has a better 3D processor compared to the Saturn by far (Compare Resident Evil PSX Vs. Saturn)

I dont know GnG...look at "Burning Rangers".it looks at least psx quality to me....of course my opinion is biased

Well Burning Rangers came out during Saturn's final year...I have HOTD for Saturn and that was kind of sad as well..

Yet Burning Rangers wasnt sad at all....Sonic Team did a great job....I just wish it wasnt so late in the making...
