post it up if u find it or know anything else about SAW IV

um how in the bloody hell would jig saw return? he got his freaking neck sliced open...unless it was a fake neck 0.o ok if jig saw comes back it may just ruin the movie. and johnny knoxvil would be a cool lead guy for this

This movie is going to be absolutely horrendous...

thats not what i asked. and it wont be horrendous.

also, before tobin did SAW 1, he signed up for 5 films, so there will indeed be a SAW IV and SAW V. he could come back to life, or be used for flashbacks.

im expecting dr gordons return, also......

I find the Saw series completely overrated. Horrible camera work, repetitive story-line, a killer who was stolen from Se7en. The violence/gore isn't even that good, watch a classic 70s or 80s Horror movie, they're much more grittier.

actually, SAW III is the goriest mainstream movie ever made.

find a gorier one, i dare ya...

no snuff films!

continue discussing SAW IV guys

Haven't you seen Hostel? The Hills Have Eyes (remake)? Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning? Wrong Turn?

Or for older movies...Hellraiser, Dead-Alive (although it's more Indy I guess), The Evil Dead, I can go on and on.

And that's just mainstream, there are a ton of Indy movies that are way gorier and that aren't afraid to show it like the Saw movies, that move the camera around so fast you'd think you were watching a music video.

Bringing jigsaw back to life would be soooo lame, but I do love the series. I also agree with Death By Pumpkins that Johnny Knoxville is an awesome choice for the lead.

I'll admit HOSTEL was violent, hills have eyes was violent, TCM....violent....wrong turn....just f&^%ing weird.

But saw3 was the only movie that actually made me stop eating my popcorn, and want to run to the bathrooom and spray the toliet with my vomit.

Also Se7en wasn't even close to the Saw movies...ex

7: He killed people who lived bad lives......
Saw: He killed people who lived bad lives.....

yes somewhat similar but let me finish

7:....according to God's way. [And our survey says....THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS YAY]
Saw:....in anyway shape or form.

7: Didn't give people a chance to start their lives over
Saw: Jigsaw did

must i proceed?

yes those films are very gory, but the SAW films really put the characters in situations that are horrible, which makes it worse. TCM franchise is so great and eerie, but hostel is just a bad, bad movie.

the reason the SAW torture is worse than any other movie I've seen is because he tells you what you need to do to get out, it's just a matter of if you can overcome your fears and do it. And the Venus Flytrap is the coolest torture device...ever

They have their differences, but I still can't watch a Saw movie without feeling like Jigsaw is just John Doe with cancer. And what really annoys me is how people harped and harped about how original Jigsaw is when the first Saw came out.

If you really want to be grossed out, watch Dead-Alive or Bad Taste, two early movies by Peter Jackson. They're more slapstick comedy than full on Horror, but the gore is their in the bucketloads. And by gore I mean you see everything, it's not like the Saw movies where the camera cuts away at the last minute and the camera moves at 100mph like a poor PG-13 MTV video.

also, last house on the left is very gory and disgusting. in one scene, the torturers make a girl urinate herself and they laugh at her. its disgusting, disturbing, and i suggest never watching it.

vile indeed.

i want the original TCM on DVD, but i cant find it anywhere. its the only movie that has ever truly scared me (other than the part in nightmare on elm st w/ the dead girl in the bag)

its so eerie, and if u want to know about what its based on, check this out

Gore isn't everything to horror movies, which is why I don't really like the Saw movies. Now, George Romero is a master of mixing horror and gore correctly. He doesn't overdo either, and his Dead movies convey the hopelessness of being trapped by a nearly invincible foe with endless numbers.
