Sega: Sonic isn't cool if you're over 12.

It's just funny to hear it from the company's North American president. It would be like Reggie saying that Mario was only cool if you're under 12. :lol

Sonic Rush on the DS was good. But it was 2D. I don't know if they can make a good 3D Sonic.

They should make a high def 2D Sonic instead.

That's bologna. It's Sega of America's marketing fault and that "SONIC X" american dubbed version that makes Sonic so kiddish...and sadly they do the same thing to him in Japan. Sonic isnt even popular in Japan by far...he was released on the US Genesis first before Japan by 1 month back in June of 1991 (then July 1991 in Japan).

Back in my time, Sonic was taken as a serious teenager with an ATTIUDE who made Mario look like a punk.

Now he's some goofy whacky sarcastic kid? pfft.

Yet when Shadow the Hedgehog shows up, it's a total disgrace...he's the worst thing to happen to the series since "Itchy and Scratchy's" POOCHIE, the ROCKIN DOG!

Mai, Sonic can't breath in 3D! After six 3D sonic games, I think he needs to quit it..and sadly, I think he needs to retire...the poor blue blurr is more pimped out than Spyro the Dragon or Crash Bandicoot.

I dont know why Sonic can't learn from Mario's 3D aspects.....even the Wii game was downright annoying...because I hated the bloody soundtrack to death on "Secret of the Rings"

The first was better, and the Gamecube version of the second really wasn't that good. The DC version was decent.

Have you finished Sonic Adventure 2 Battle? Most amazing final boss scene in the sonic series since Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Castlevania has the same problem. All of the 3D iterations of it have not been as good as the classic 2D Symphony of the Night.

If they want to make it look next gen, they don't necessarily have to do it by making it 3D. Look at the beauty of something like Odin Sphere! :)

Funny you mention that, alot of people I know loved Lament of Innocence and Im personally liking Curse of Darkness. Yet both failed miserably in sales.

What's wrong with 2D? Dem's fighting WORDS missy!! :lol

To answer your question, NO, Sega cannot make a decent 3D Sonic game...only NIGHTS will forever be Sonic Team's most succesful 3D game in this history

Castlevainia's done well for itself in 3D. 2-D is better, but still...

Sonic can make a decent 3D game though, so I don't want to see them throw in the towel, just yet. They should just make a good freaking game, get rid of Shadow, and try to salvage the now god-awful characters and story.

Get rid of Big the Cat...Cream the Rabbit...Chaotix team (Nobody even cared about the 32X game...)...Shadow...and yeah even Amy Rose...she was cool in Sega CD..but now she's a hooker who's been pimped out more than Paris Hilton in each sonic game....and someone give Tails a real voice...
