Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to adjust the speed(SP,LP,EP,etc.)before I start burning. The system I have is Vista if that's any help.

Thanks A Bunch

SP, LP, and EP are speed settings for VHS tapes. They used these in an effort to be able to fit more on a VHS tape. They did this by slowing down the rate the tape is used. The problem is that this sacrifices video and audio quality. These settings are not used for any optical type of media.

There are speeds that your burner can burn in and those are usually labeled 4x, 8x, 16x, etc. Most burners are capable of burning adequately at their max speeds, but it's best to use the speeds that are a tad slower than the max speed.

For example, if your burner can burn at 16x, use 8x.
