*sigh* Will I ever be able to save for my PC?

Well, as some of you know I'm sure, I'm trying to save up to build myself a new PC (no easy task, when you have no job, might I add). Currently, I have about $200 towards it, and I can guarantee, by the end of the March, it'll all be gone. :(

Why may you ask? There are a million great looking games coming out this quarter. For my Wii, I'll have to be picking up Brawl, No More Heroes, and Okami, all in the first quarter. Goodbye $150.

I'll have to buy Advance Wars: Day of Ruin, for the DS, so now I'm down to $15.

For the 360, I'll have to pick up Burnout Paradise, Devil May Cry 4, Turok, Lost Odyssey, and Condemned 2: Bloodshot. So, by the end of March, I should have -$285. Goodbye quad-core.

Why must you make so many great games, developers? :(

Yes, name them, and after each one, think to yourself, "See you in a year."

name them now?
Fine. I will go through the painful process of naming the PC games I want, but won't be able to have for over a year. :'(

Sins of a Solar Empire ( :'( :'()
Galactic Civilizations 2: Twilight of the Arnor ( :'()
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
Far Cry 2
C&C 3 expansion
and the new S.T.A.L.K.E.R (possibly)

That's for January through March.

wow i havent heard of any of those except candc and far cry 2, which are all on consoles. so you really shouldnt be sad

EDIT - fr0dus, what the hell are you talking about

You haven't heard of Starcraft 2? Where's the rock you live under?

I suppose the fact that you haven't heard of them makes them suck?

FYI, Sins of a Solar Empire is from Stardock, one of the best 4x game makers I've ever seen.

Twilight of the Arnor is an expansion to GalCiv 2, which is also from Stardock, and is a better turn-based strategy game than Civilization.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is from Infinity Ward...nuff said.

Far Cry 2, you already know about, but Crytek has never made a good console game, so I'll be picking that up for PC.

It's sad you've never heard of C&C 3.

And the new S.T.A.L.K.E.R game is the sequel to an acclaimed open-world shooter from last year.

What's with Civilization: Revolution, though? I've been wondering about that.

First Farcry sucks on console and if you get it for console over PC you just fail and cry to sleep. Again C&C3: Kane's Wrath will be 100x better on PC.

Don't make me keep doing that.

@cherry, that vast majority of excellent games are coming out for the two consoles you own, so its really not a big deal...

and @ fhq, i honestly dont see a difference between any rts games, let alone starcraft.

@fr0dus, im sure some of them have "better graphics ftw" or "different units omgz" i just dont see it

You probably haven't played Starcraft, either.

That implies I shouldn't be sad about waiting for those games, which implies they aren't any good.

@fhq, Civilization: Revolution is supposed to be out this year...I think?

Well I think it is because I want a ton of games for the PC this year. (I just put up a Q1 list, FYI)
