"skate." concept for snowboarding

So we all know that skate.'s control scheme and huge free-roam map has taught us to enjoi skateboarding games in a whole new way, and im fairly sure that most of us were willing to learn. But personally, i like snowboarding more than skateboarding. And because of this, i would really like to see a snowboarding game modeled after skate.
I was just curious as to what other people's opinions are about this matter. And if anyone agrees with me, perhaps we could discuss how to get the ball rolling. Or maybe theres already one out there in concept or development. Whatever the case, i think it ultimately needs to happen.

The only issue that might come up is that EA already makes SSX, so I don't know if they would revamp it to make it more similar to a snowboarding version of skate (which they also made).

yea but perhaps they dont need to revamp SSX, but instead just branch off with a new franchise. SSX will stay as the game that is fun because of its outlandishly ridiculous tricks and massive scores while the "skate."-snowboard game (which i am now naming "ride.")will be the game that is fun because of its realistically ridiculous tricks and free roam ness.

The skate. analog control would never work for a snowboarding game. It simply wouldn't...it's designed for doing flip tricks. A BMX game could work it out, probably, which would be cool.

im not saying that they need to make the control scheme match. i dont think that it would work to well either. But i dont see why a free roam snowboard game is a bad idea. instead of having a large city to skate around in, there would be a large mountain or set of mountains that you could free ride on. You could also integrate urban snowboarding by perhaps allowing the player to remove the snowboard to gain access to unconventional spots.
