SLEEPERS!!!

Ever pick up a game just cause it's cheap and it turns out to be really fun?? Post up your experiences here. When I had the Dreamcast, I bought Space Channel 5 cause it was only $5 at the time, and I was addicted to it for a looooong time! :lol

I bought a game called....I think it was called Shadow Conspiricy....What you did was travel through time and solve stuff....it had like 5 different endings...It was for the PS2. Your guy was tall, skinny and had long white hair...no not From FFVII :lol

Rygar: The Legendary Adventure. Paid like $8-10. I can't remember. Gameplay is top notch. And the soundtrack rocks.

I thought it was going to be a cheesy remake of the NES or even the arcade version of the 80s. No way. This one blew my expectations completely away!! I even did a review for teh game Adicts page a while back. It's a tough game too. I haven't been able to beat it yet.

I bought Command and Conquer: Red Alert off of a buddy for 5 bucks.........man, i loved that game, i played it a lot.......havent in a while though

I got that agme for free. I never was able to get all into it though.

I got a game called wario ware because it was cheap, and it was the most random fun I had in a long time

Freedom Fighters.

This game debuted at like $25 Canadian. Was easily my favorite "squad based shooter" or whatever that genre is. It was like Pikmin with soldiers, and guns, and cheezy Russian stereotypes, and corny American stereotypes, what's not to like?

That was an awesome/ challenging game!!!!

Ok, I want to get a game this weekend. I want to get a cheap sleeper that'll make me happy for a while. So, what do you guys suggest?

Mercenaries failed to impress me. There were some cool elements to it, but it seemed like it tried to do too much, and in the end it didn't do anything perticularly well.

Shadow of Collousus...could be the sleeper hit of the century. If you havn't played it, play it, and thank me later.
