Snail in Animal Crossing?? (POst here if you caught one)

I am still having trouble catching my last insect (the snail)  for Animal Crossing.

Who has caught it?
What did it look like?

And has anyone else had a hard time getting their last insect in Animal Crossing?
I am frustrated because I have got every insect but the snail in a legit fashion (IE I did not mess with the dates/calendar/cube clock time).

I appreciate the help!

POST HERE IF YOU CAUGHT ONE!!

This insect is not supposed to be uncommon..... I can't get one... in fact, I've not seen one in my game in the years that I have played it.... AND I've had it since it came out.

POST HERE... if you caught one... I want some proof. I honestly don't think this exists in the game ... at least my game :lol

Well according to this Faq...

They are supposed to be available all day between the months of April and September in the flower beds. I've not found one yet but now I know where to look. :D

Supposively they are to be found in rain as well....

But I have yet to see one... >:( let alone catch one :lol

They are orange and tan and you will know what it is as soon as you see it. It doesn't run away because snails can't run. It was to be raining, just plant a metric ton of flowers and you're bound to see one eventually...I seriously have NO trouble finding them or catching them I actually have a small collection of them in my basement...
