I finally broke down and decided to buy a PSP!

Yeah I bet you never thought you'd hear that from me, right? :D

The reason is that there are finally good games coming out for it, most notably Street Fighter and Me & My Katamari! :)

One of my friends is getting rid of hers so I'm going to get it for a nice price. She's also going to throw in Darkstalkers and Ridge Racer.

I've already picked up a 128 mb card and once I get paid I'm also going to pick up Popolocrois and Hot Shots Golf (and Lumines if I can find it).

Very nice Mai
I would like to get one but there are a lot of other things I would rather spend the money on. Let us know how you like it,

Well, I hope you enjoy.

BTW, do you have wifi at your house? If you don't you should look into it since the PSP is unleashed by internet access.

*cough* Sell out. *cough*

You never heard/saw me say/write that.

Anyway, what other good games for the PSP are coming out?

Well I would like to see Winning Eleven 9 on it. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is also coming out soon.

They did make Winning Eleven 9 for PSP. But I'm not into soccer. :p

I actually ending up buying a used PSP instead, since my friend's klepto sister stole hers. But it works out better, since I was able to get a warranty with it. Right now the only games I have are Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max and PoPoLoCrois. I have Capcom Classics Collection Remixed and Me & My Katamari on pre-order. I picked up a demo of Pursuit Force recently and it's not too bad.

I'm just waiting now for an announcement on the FFVII spin-off, Crisis Core (I think that's what it's called).

I'm looking forward to me & my katamari too. Glad to see you've joined the ranks of the PSP owners. I didn't buy mine, though, it was a gift. I'm almost too broke to pay my rent, so it's pretty funny that I'm a PSP owner.

I'm secretly a gadget geek. I would have ended up getting the PSP anyway. It just happened sooner than I expected. :D

I played a demo for the Syphon Filter game. It has horrible controls. :(

First off, welcome to the boards daum. :) If you need anything, you can private message me or one of the mods.

I haven't really played much PSP so does anyone know how much they are used?

This is off topic, but Mai what show is your avatar from?

Actually it's from a game. It's Sheena from Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube. That's my favorite game. It has some anime cut scenes in it, so that's where that picture comes from.

I played a little Hot Shots Golf PSP at my local Best Buy and I really dug it, though I'd like to see if it will have a price drop soon.

Isn't Sheena's hair black. At first she was in my party a lot unti lI found out she didn't melee.

Yeah, I think it just looks like that because of the lighting in the scene. I think I kept her in my party but it's been so long that I don't remember. Her summons are really useful though when you hit her Overlimit or whatever it's called.

You know how people say lighning never strikes the same place twice?? Remember how I posetd up once that my GBA SP was found in a dumpster?? Well I have a good one to share.

Last week my brother-in-law was leaving the locker room after his P.E class and noticed something in a garbage can. Yep. You guessed it. A PSP.

I didn't believe him until he showed me the handheld. He got the oblagatory "you shoulda turned it into the lost and found" bit. But trying to reason with a 15 year old is like speaking to a brick wall.

So here he is. New PSP in hand. I still think the thing is goofy looking, and the controls are weird. But you gotta love the graphics...

The graphics are awesome, and I do love the screen.

But I still find the game library lacking. I actually traded in my PSP already, along with the games I had for it. I got 4 DS games and one PS2 game with the credit I got on the PSP.

I just didn't see anything at E3 that really grabbed me and made me want to keep the PSP. The DS on the other hand has a fabulous line-up, so I think I'll just stick with that handheld for now.

I'm sure I'll end up getting a PSP again at some point, but it's just not worth it to me right now.
