So I finally got to play a Wii (Yeah I'm late...)

*phew* Where to begin...first off, that Retro Controller should be on every console. My co-worker invited me over last night to check the Wii out finally after such a long wait.

I got to play Wario Ware Smooth Moves and Metal Slug Anthology. I enjoyed both, but I'll never get used to that Wario Ware sadly. Also, shaking the controller to throw a generade in Metal Slug Anthology was a bit odd, but can't you use the Cube or Retro controller I think?

The entire console interface really impressed me, especially checking the weather, the news, and the internet..

We downloaded Mario Kart 64 (Has anyone noticed it actually handles smoother with the Retro controller then the real N64 controller?), Contra 3: The Alien Wars, Super CastleVania 4, and Zelda NES (I noticed this was a direct port of the Zelda CE on Cube thanks to the dead give away on the copyright logo title screen...1986-2003). I even played Super Mario 64...and I just gotta say that has to be the best looking picture I've seen Mario 64 in, even more so to that of the DS version. Since you really can't beat a Wii in component cables.

My final verdict....I wish I had a Wii.

Really? Nintendo have clearly stated that all VC games will be the original ports. Oh well.

Yeah I remember reading that, but this is clearly an emulated port.
