So I picked up a pre-owned "chunky" DS and a copy of Mario Kart...

...and now it's 10 hours later, my hands have become misshapen claws and I've got severe pins and needles running down my back. I'm pretty sure I had a stroke or two doing the power-slide missions. Tomorrow I'm either getting Super Mario 64 DS or New Super Mario Bros. You guys are the experts, what do you think I should get?

I had SM64 and I enjoyed it immensely, you can't go wrong with it. If yur into Mario, I'd really suggest M&L Partners in Time also

New Super Mario bros.

I got Super Mario Bros. It's amazing how a game that's supposedly very simplistic can be so complex and, when things go wrong, frustrating. The amount of times I didn't time a jump properly and just missed a ledge. Then there was the first Bowser fight. I grazed his spikes slightly a couple of times and died, annoyingly. I'm glad I burned him to death.

Anyway, back to more Mario fun. I never got why people get DS Lites for twice the price of a DS "chunky" which is just as good.

More good news: after thinking the previous owner had lost the stylus, I found it in the holder. How unlikely it would turn up there!

Good score. What color did you get?? I have the blue one because I thought it was cool looking.

New Super Mario Bros is a nice have in that it plays like SM3, and it is also unique at the same time.

Mario 64 is fun on the DS, but some parts that are simple on the N64 are a complete pain in the butt on the DS version. That and the stylus part of the game is all but useless.

I also suggest Castlevania. Any of them. Get them. If you get Aria of Sorrow (GBA), and beat it on the DS while Dawn of Sorrow is plugged into the DS, and switch, it unlocks all kinds of things in Dawn of Sorrow. So get crackin'!!!
