This is basically your Top 5-10 list of PS2 games you are waiting for. Just note that all of the games you mention needs to be confirmed, so type where you found the information to give yourself so people will believe you. Gran Turismo 7 won't work.

Anyway, here's a list of games I'm waiting for. All of these can be found on ign.com. They are in random order.

* SSX On Tour, aka SSX4.
* Tony Hawk's Underground 3.
* Final Fantasy XII. (I think. It's the new single-player FF).
* Soul Calibur III.
* X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse.

Right now, there's only two PS2 releases that I'm waiting for:

Mushihime-sama LE (scheduled for a July release in Japan)
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-r-77-1-15-mushihime-70-oph.html

Vampire Collection (hits Japan May 19th)
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-40-70-k9n.html

With any luck, Raiden III, Shikigami No Shiro 3 and Homura will get ported to the PS2.  But that's all up to Success and Taito.

What are those King of Fighters games like anyway? What is their best and worst part, and how many are there? I'm asking since I've never heard of them other than that Street Fighters vs King of Fighters-thingy a few years ago. I like a good fighting game, but they are very hard to come by.

And have anyone heard about Star Ocean IV? I can't wait, but didn't put it on the list as it isn't confirmed yet.

Only Final Fantasy XII and Resident Evil 4 ported for PS2.

I'd add in Silent Hill 5, but there's not much information about it at the moment.

Shining Tears too. I believe it may already be released, however if it has, it'll be awhile before Australia see's it. If it see's it, that is.

I'm waiting for more information about Resident Evil 4 before I'll get it. It seems to me the only connection it has to the old Resi games is Leon. The entire gameplay has changed, the monsters are different, it has a new location etc.

And is Silent Hill 5 confirmed? Guess that is great news. I loved the first one, hated the second, loved the third, hated the fourth, and now we have a fifth. Statistically it should be great. ;) What do you know about it?

Yeah. I'm not too sure about RE4. I mean, I'll probably wait till the price drops before I bother; either that, or rent. Like you said, there's been a lot of changes. People seem to be pretty happy with it, but my fondness towards the RE series is running a bit dry these days.

The second SH makes me real uneasy. I get creeped out if I hear anything around the house while playing it, haha. Same went for SH3. SH4 was a disappointment.

As for SH5, well.. the only thing confirmed for it is that it'll be on next-gen consoles. There were some rumours about it revolving around a mental patient reliving his memories and past in Silent Hill through flashbacks, but it was shot down by the producer, Akira Yamaoka. So. Not much at all is known about it. I just hope they spend more time on it as opposed to SH4, even though it was apparently in the making after SH2 was finished and that was a good four years ago.

Add the fact Silent Hill 4 was originall called "Room 304" or something, and you got yourself a questionable game. It was later changed to "Silent Hill 4: The Room", yet it doesn't have anything to do with Silent Hill.

And how could I miss Project Zero 3? The two first ones are brillant and quite different from "normal" survival/horror games as your entire arsenal is a camera. I have great hopes for the next one.

KOF is a very long runnning Fighting game series created by SNK. Well essentially its everything SF isnt; It has a great story with very complex characters and plots, almost every year more characters are added. The best part of the series is the Fighting system...its such a breath of fresh air. If you like fighting games, you have to check out KOF. (Well this is coming from an SNK fan's p.o.v....some capcom fans would beg to differ lol ::))

Nah, Silent Hill 4 actually holds ties with the happenings of Silent Hill 2. The landlord that lives in the building is James Sunderland's father, from the second game. There's other stuff but I think I'm going off topic here, haha. Nevertheless, Silent Hill 4 was never meant to be a SH game.

I have one more to add.

Tomb Raider: Legacy. Lara looks great, in comparison to the crack addict look she had in AOD. Anything can be better then that game, so I'm definately looking forward to it.

well in fact i got quite a long list.

FFXII
Resident Evil 4
Grandia 3
Shadow Hearts 3
Romancing Saga
Shining Force Neo
Radiata Stories
Tales of legendia
Kingdom Hearts 2
Devil Summoner

Guess I need to update my list. I already have SSX 4 (and hate it), and tried a demo of Soul Calibur 3. It was fun to create my own character in SC3 (and quite impressive to be a demo), but when the fighting began I was dead in three seconds. No kidding. Just "Round 1... Fight! (Big combo) You loose!"  :o

My new list goes something like this:
* Resident Evil 4 PS2
* Gears of War (on xbox360)
* Hellgate: London (again, xbox360)
* The new GTA game. (xbox360, of course)
* Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (yes, again. the xbox.)

(not saying the ps3's gonna suck, just can't wait for a new system.) 8)

That's right, because Silent Hill 4 was not suppose to be a Silent Hill game, they wanted to make a whole new series. Yet when Konami producers had a look at it, they wanted to slap on the "SILENT HILL" name

As for Silent Hill 5 (aka "Silent Hill: Shadows of the Past). Is still focus around the original idea of a man reliving his past
