So who picked up Nintendogs?

I own Nintendogs too! my dachshund believe it or not got 10 points in the obidience thingy in championship, my Dachshund is called Nacho ;)
 
i remember thinking to myself "theres no way im not getting this when it comes out!"

but somehow......i never did.

i havent bought any ds games in a while, except pokemon diamond of course.

I couldn't get into this one either. There was just no point to it and Famitsu lost credibility by giving it a perfect score.

Seriously, just get a real dog.
 
It's hardly the same as having an actual dog, not to mention how stupid you look speaking to a cyber dog living inside your Nintendo DS (seriously, who would even do that in a public place?). Sure real dogs are more expensive but they're also....real, not to mention you wont get sick of them in 2 weeks time. Ok, if you wanna be even more cheap, get a Tamagotchi. :D

Yeah. I've got to admit it would be absolutely hilarious seeing some guy in an airport or something sitting there talking to his DS. I personally never picked up Nintendogs and never will. I was just pointing the price thing out. I guys you get what you pay for.l

And I had a Tamagotchi. It died. :'(
 
I have a Nintendog Retro, a lab to be precise. Am I a freak? Huh? HUH? Yeah, I talk to my dog, so what? Is that a problem?
 
My sister has two versions of this game. I think they are Wiener dog and Dalmation. I tried it. Its pretty addictive. Got the same feeling when playing Pokemon. I also have two real dogs, and they suck. Every time I try to pet them with the stylus they bark. Whinney old farts...

#5 is Japan only. There were only five versions of Nintendogs that saw stateside release and they weren't all released at the same time.

These three were released first, all at the same time:
Dachshund & Friends
Lab & Friends
Chihuaha & Friends

Nintendogs Best Friends version wasn't technically released as a stand-alone game. It came free if you bought a special edition Nintendo DS.

Dalmation & Friends was the final one released in the US. I don't remember when though. But it was well after the other four.
 
I sold my Nintendogs......I never got really into it. I personally think it's just not my game. I LOVE action. :lol
